I tore this thing apart and painted and rebuilt it myself. It was a serious project, but when I got him, he was 1970s poo brown. If you want a great drafting table that is pretty and super functional, this is it! I even added some black and cream knobs for a personal touch. I bought this one because it reminded me of how my grandmother use to wash my clothes growing up. We didn’t have a machine until I was in middle school. Everything was done by hand with ‘washing powder’ and then hung on a line to dry in the sun. I wish she hadn’t thrown hers away, but I guess the new washer and dryer she got made her want to forget the old days. I can’t say I blame her. You get the washboard, I keep the memory.

1930s collectible dictionary by Dr. Gerh Jacob printed in Germany. Originally belonged to Dolores Willis. After some research I found a Ms. Dolores Willis graduated from Guthrie High school in 1956. Funny thing is that I purchased this from a dealer in San Luis Obispo long before I had ever even known of Guthrie. It is a great conversation piece. I’ve always collected old dictionaries as they really give a great insight to cultural changes over time. This one has some nifty definitions. Someone will truly enjoy it. I know I have

Someday I will regret this, I am sure. So I am hoping someone I know buys these perfectly broken in Hyer boots. The size has worn off, but they fit me in length so my best stab is that they are a Mens 7 to 7 1/2 D. They belonged to a very wealthy doctor in Prairie Village. I wore them only a few times before I learned to make my own They now live in the occasional room of my flat, and admire themselves in the mirror. They are so very vain. Have no doubt, these boots still have a lot of life in them and would put any Golden Goose pair to shame.
Hyer Brothers Boot Company of Olathe, Kansas was one of the leading boot manufacturers at the height of the American Frontier and cowboy boot days of glory. Hyer boots are all considered very collectible. These are especially unusual because of their size. So if you are a guy with the right size foot or a gal that wants built in nostalgia, the kind that looks like some cowboy died with them on, these are the boots for you.

Kinda Shabby, Kinda Emo. This little table is kinda crazy, but there is nothing wobbly about it. I loved it because it has personal handwritten notes and scribbles on the table which is protected by a glass insert. If you are looking for a perfect cute white coffee table, this is not it, but if you appreciate the dark side of shabby chic, I think it’s a winner. I’d say it’s pretty much priceless. Leave it as is or paint it oxblood red… that would be nice.

Sometimes genius is displaced. Commercial baking bread pan crusted to perfection and reborn as a toilet paper holder. It’s awesome. Holds single and double rolls When I got this thing it had several layers of build up. I cleaned it down and kept as much of the aging as possible. It’s a shame we have to part. You won’t find another with this one’s character.

I don’t know what to call this thing. I use it to hold my laundry coins and toll fare. I love the expression on his face. If you are a pig collector or know one, I bet you or they don’t have him! A great gift. How can you resist those ears?
I bought these because they were so damn pretty. Now I’m giving them up, hoping for an nice outdoor shower on my next adventure. They are lovely. It’s a complete set of 12, they are in perfect condition and can be yours!
Nothing makes me feel like good more than a nice bowl of homemade soup, at the farm table covered in Granny’s table cloth. This one is like the one your grandma only pulled out for special occasions. It is in wonderful condition and likewise, I respected the tradition and only used it a few times. It’s ivory and lace.

Great little collectible. Nice patina on this one! I picked it up at an estate sale in Calgary. Solid brass. ‘Peerage England’ Makers Mark. Stamped on sole. Left boot. I used it to hold and strike matches, but it would also be a wonderful paper weight. Peerage manufactured original copper and brassware during 1910s-1930s. Production was not generally marked and was intended to be good quality period reproductions.

The color of this set is so yummy! Grape chairs with beautiful seats covered in a vintage white matelassé pattern with an unusual chocolate contrast stitching. Matelassé fabric is known to get better with each washing. The fabric came from two beautiful shabby chic pillow shams I bought several years ago and recently color reduced. They are a great pair and would work beautifully in any room. My favorite detail is the oval pattern on the back of these and how it picks up the stitch pattern in the seats.
